Marlon Brando wore a Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675 as Colonel Walter E. Kurtz. Brando removed the bezel himself and engraved “M. Brando” on the caseback, giving the watch a stark appearance that reinforced the character’s isolation. The screen-worn watch later surfaced at auction with documented provenance.
